It has been so crazy, busy here at happygirlphotography, placing orders, creating Christmas cards, canvas's,my poor camera has been sitting in the corner of my office for a week! unfortunately,BLOGGING has gone to the bottom of the list! So I decided to give myself a challenge for the 25 days of Christmas.

Starting tomorrow, THE BLOGGING CONTEST BEGINS!!!!!!!

I will post one of my favorite 25 pictures of the year everyday for 25 days, just some of this year's shots that really spoke to me!! (and I will wait to post the Christmas card shots till later in the month, since I KNOW you will all have your cards out by then!)

As Senior Season is winding done, I was so excited to shoot one last adorable girl. She was up for anything,and you know that a really easy way to make me happy is just say you would love to shoot in front of a rundown building and railroad tracks! Enjoy!

These three sisters were so cute I could hardly stand it! THE TOUGHEST PHOTO SHOOT OF THE YEAR / CINCINNATI CHILD PHOTOGRAPHER

It is the day that every child photographer dreads...shooting their own children!
Why is it that you are the Pied Piper with other peoples children, but with your own, that Christmas card is life and death!!!!! I think it went pretty well this year considering only one person cried...though that might have been the driver in front of me that was going WAY TO SLOW while I am yelling "move out of the way...I am losing the light" Well, it's done, it's over, till next year!!!!
I can't post a sneek peek with both of my girls, but here is a quick shot I took of Savannah...if you call putting together an outfit, blowdrying hair, driving to three locations a quick shot...then here it is!!!

Fantastic Senior /senior high school photographer /happygirlphotography

I had so much fun with this Senior!!! He is very into the arts, photography and video, so we spent the whole time just talking shop! I love this kind of shoot where I can go further out of the box then I normally do! The lighting God's were with me during the shot on the train tracks....HALLELUJAH !!!!!!!!!!!

RULES OF THE HOUSE / CINCINNATI CHILD PHOTOGRAPHER

There are certain rules for my kids that we really stick to in our house.....try to be kind to each other, think before you speak,and don't play in MOMMY'S OFFICE!So imagine my surprise when I opened up the PHOTO BOOTH application on my MAC and found about 75 different entry's of photo's and videoclips.....

first...isn't this sort of like leaving the empty container of ice cream on the kitchen
counter?
second....my 7 year old spends enough time in my office that she can create video clips
in her spare time?
I need to start paying more attention during playdates!!!!!!

BEAUTIFUL KIDS....AGAIN / cincinnati child photographer/happygirlphotography

So amazing and adorable! The hardest part about this time of year is that I cannot post any group pictures of the kids in case that is the shot that ends up on the Christmas card...( we do not want to upset any Mom's) it is so hard because the shots of the four of them gave off such warmth and love just cross your fingers that you are on their card list!!!! Things are becoming a little crazy-busy at happygirlphotography, so please call or email if you would like to squeeze your shoot in this Holiday Season. My cut off for shooting is November 23. DO FAMILYS REALLY LOOK LIKE THIS ?????

Ok, I must have been sprinkled with the ONLY BEAUTIFUL CHILDREN fairy dust this season.....these kids are just GORGEOUS!!!!!!! and looking at their parents, you can see it's all in the family tree!!! I know their Mom loves black and white, but I just had to share how wonderful they looked in color!

I have had so much fun this Holiday Season (well, that's what photographer's call the CRAZY season between September and December) These girls are so adorable and the parents are two of my favorite people! You have to give a shout out to this dad, four girls under the age of eight, four proms...four weddings..and he is just plain outnumbered! here are a few sneak peeks, and scroll down to the bottom to see just how much fun family's have shooting with me, I knew I had a pretty good sense of humor but c'mon now, I must have said something really hysterical!
